Webb20 feb. 2024 · I have a vexatious problem and hope someone can provide some ideas. A client’s M1 MacBook Air has ‘sharingd’ constantly gobbling up 80%-90% CPU. Killing the process only works temporarily — it respawns in seconds, maybe a minute at most. It survived a macOS reinstallation (to 11.1.2) but it does go away in Safe Mode.
