SteamOS 3 hasn't been released officially (yet) in a way that works on most generic hardware - only the recovery image specific to the Steam Deck. WebThe recommended max tdp is ~150w for dual slot GPU. I was looking at the 6650 XT and going deshrouded with new (better) fans with new paste and pads. I was alternatively looking at waiting for the 7600 xt to drop sometime this year and same thing deshroud with new fans and paste. I plan to use it as a steam machine for holoiso or chimera.
