WebChiv 2 is massively different than either Chiv or Mordhau. That's not a bad thing. Once I had spent a couple of hours playing around with the new combat it became massively fun. Chiv 1 was way better. You actually had to time your blocks instead of holding block and mashing R2 like everyone on here. Plus there was ACTUALLY (who knew) DUEL SERVERS. WebIn Chiv 1, I used to swap between Vanguard and Knight a lot, and I do the same in Chiv 2. The Knight's last subclass has: throwing axes, oil pot, messer. That's so lovely for me. But since I need some changes, sometimes I play Vanguard. I'm disappointed that the Greatsword stab sucks, so I don't feel much difference when playing messer. WebChiv 2 is a numbers game. Even the best players cant do well if they're teammates are too afraid to push in and help on the objective. In most cases in a full 32v32 match a few people switching teams, high or low level, wont really change the outcome of the battle so long as the pre match balancing is done well which sometimes it isnt.

WebIt is a great jack of all trades weapon. I frequently did stab into heavy stab and that kills vanguards so it’s a great combo. Obviously if you are team fighting all day you may want a messer, battle axe, or maul, but for you lose out on duel potential compared to the longsword. WebThe game doesn’t feel casual too me. The game is also super grindy. The weapons all have different mechanics and properties. There is a lot to wrap your head around for players who never played chiv 1 like me. I would argue this game has a lot of depth … a lot that doesn’t met the eye at first glance. The game tutorial isn’t stellar either.
WebYes the greatsword isn't great. Kinda ironic. I had a guy with a knife that would get blocked and immediately start attacking again and hit me through my attack. The greatsword when you unlock it sounds like a good idea but you'll quickly realized that its smaller brothers are just better in everyway. 6. guatemala april weatherWebThis sucks.
