Jim Soward LPC, LISAC

Jim is licensed as both a Professional Counselor and a Substance Abuse Counselor. He lives in Tucson with his wife Dr. Joanne Haupert and three children. He has extensive experience working with individuals, groups, and families since 1997. Jim has been in recovery from alcohol and other drugs since 1989. His experience living with addiction and then the recovery process gives him a unique understanding of the needs of people seeking help.

Jim graduated from Chapman University with a Masters degree in counseling, and before entering private practice worked for five years as the manager for Substance Abuse program at the Pascua Yaqui tribe and then the manager of Adult Behavioral Health Services for the Tribe. Jim continually attends trainings on various behavioral health practices.

Catalina Christophe

Catalina Christophe LISAC LPC licensed as both professional counselor and substance abuse counselor. She lives in Tucson with her husband and son for the last 17 years. She was born in Michoacán Mexico where she earned her bachelor degree. She conducted for three (3) years of private practice. She immigrated to the United States in 1988 and since then she has worked with families and children. She started a private practice three (3) years ago and has worked at the Parent Connection for more than three years. She also worked for CODAC Behavioral Health for more than twelve 12 years. Her experience consists of working with individual, families and groups dealing with mental illnesses such as depression, PTSD, gambling, alcohol and drug addiction. Catalina graduate from Chapman University with Master degree in counseling in 1998. She received training and mindfulness base cognitive therapy ( EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT. She participated as a student of Psychodrama for ten years. She is a board member of the Adlerian society Tucson chapter for the last fourteen years

Mi nombre es Catalina Christophe tengo la licencia del estado como una consejera professional para trabajar con personas que tienen problemas mentales,  drogadiccion y alcolismo. Naci en Mexico, vivo en los Estados Unidos por ultimos 22 anos . Estudie mi maestria en la uiversidad de Chapman. Me gradue de la Universidad de Queretaro Mexico con la licenciatura en psicologia clinica. En Mexico trabaje por 3 anos depues de mi graduation. Emigre a los US con la intencion de continuar mis estudios, me case aqui y ahora vivo con mi esposo e hijo. Trabajo en la area de salud mental por mas de 25 anos. Tengo experiencia en el tratamiento de familias y ninos, que sufren de problemas mentales como: depression, traumas, alcolismo, drogas y adicciones al juegos de azar o(casinos).
